Magnet Customer File Setup
FONTS:
Embedded fonts in the .pdf file, Converted fonts to outlines in .Eps files, and remit the font files with a Quark file.
What RESOLUTION do you require?
Images need to be 300dpi (maximum 350dpi) for printing at the actual size they will be used at. Avoid Images created at 72dpi (which is what is used for the internet) as they will blurry and pixelize.
What COLOR MODE do I use?
Spot color needs to be in it's respective Pantone color.Color printing needs to be created CMYK. Black and White printing needs to be Greyscale.
We accept the following types of files:
.PDF, .JPG, .TIF, .EPS, .AI, .PSD as well as .PNG
What is a HIGH RES PDF?
When making a PDF file, please make sure no compression is on (so it will be High Res), and include bleeds and printers bleed marks, trim marks and crop marks.
What about BLEED?
If an item has image out to the edge of sheet, it should bleed off the sheet by .125". If it doesn't bleed off the sheet, please leave a .125" margin from the cut edge to the page items.
What about CROP MARKS?:
When making your file or Pdf, make sure you have any necessary bleeds pulled. When making a PDF file, please make sure no compression is on (so it will be High Res), and include bleeds and printers bleed marks, trim marks and crop marks.
QUARK FILES:
When submitting a Quark file, please include the Quark files, all related fonts, and all related supporting files such as tifs and eps. Please stuff or zip the files so they upload better.
